Engine Details and Mechanical Equipment:
This boat was in the Bahama’s during Hurricane Dorian, however there was NO water intrusion of any kind. She did have some slight external damage that included the rub and toe rails. The boat was driven over to FL (under her own power) and taken over by a professional yacht restoration company to go over and fix any issues the boat may have had. The surface damage to the hull was completely repaired and now looks, feels like new. A survey, with percussion sounding was completed for insurance in February 2021 out of the water, then later completed in the water a few months later, by a NAPS/SAMS/IAMI certified marine surveyor which gave the boat a Current Fair Market value of $499,000. Overall condition was listed as “Good and very well maintained, above average condition”. The surveyor did not find any issues with stringers, deck, hull or any delamination. The survey can be made available to any potential buyer at the time of an accepted offer. Please note: It is still in a buyers best interest to hire their own surveyor and rigging inspectors.
During this boats 8 months of restoration it included, but was not limited to: de masting the boat for complete access to deck and hull. The damaged rub rail was completely removed. The original standing rigging was remounted. Almost all systems have been tested, maintenance done where needed, upgraded where needed. This is a tough, true blue water sailing vessel that is very well made.
Notes: The watermaker has never been tested by current owner.
The current owner chose not to add a dingy davit system, knowing they were going to sell it after restoration, as this is usually a personal choice of each owner, however the mounting bolts for a davit system is present.
