Reminescent of the Nauticat 40 Sparkman & Stephens design and a longer slightly beamier version of Kaj Gustafsson's Nauticat 35. Kaj added a sugar scoop stepped transom, a little more draft in the keel and a taller rig.
She has all the attributes for which the Nauticats are known: A lower profile raised saloon than the traditional Nauticats with a large U-shaped settee in the pilothouse which is long enough for someone to sleep on, a chart table and helm (gear & throttle and autopilot) in the opposite forward corner to starboard. As always there is generous 360 degree visibility with level sightlines whether seated or standing anywhere in the pilothouse. 4 fans for ventilation to augment opening portlights and deck hatches.
The principal helm is in the cockpit with tremendous visibility.
She will please any cruising sailor.
Her aft cabin is full atrwartship with plenty of headroom and a generous double berth. There is a head aft with a stall shower. A V-berthed forward cabin has a separate head aft of it.
The galley is arranged fore and aft, to starboard; just forward of the pilothouse.
