The Bavaria 36 offers class leading accommodation. Sideways is the three cabin layout version with two aft double cabins, offering six berths outside the saloon. She has the shoal draft fin keel, furling mainsail, anchor windlass, central heating, bimini and more. She is very easy to sail with all controls led aft to the cockpit. Presents well, she should be viewed as soon as possible.

The Bavaria 36 three cabin layout offers up to eight berths with three double berths outside the saloon, and excellent 6'4" max headroom.
FORECABIN: Considered the owner's cabin and fitted with a large double berth, large hanging locker, small seat, eye level lockers, opening hatch to foredeck and en-suite access to heads compartment.
HEADS: Separate compartment forward to port with electric marine toilet (new 2021) with holding tank, shower, washbasin, wet locker and storage. Access from both saloon and fore cabin.
SALOON: Consisting of settee berths either side of a large central table with folding leaves and excellent stowage in various lockers and cupboards. Plenty of natural light and ventilation is provided by four large opening side windows and a central hatch.
GALLEY: L-shaped galley to port equipped with a gimballed 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, twin stainless steel sinks (with hinging covers that also form a splash back), refrigerator and generous stowage in various drawers and cupboards. 300 litre freshwater capacity in two tanks.
CHART TABLE: To starboard, with electrical distribution panel, heater controls, radio CD and useful stowage.
AFT CABINS: Two aft cabins fitted with a double berths, opening portlights, hanging lockers and storage.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Excellent ventilation throughout is provided by numerous opening hatches and portlights. Pressurised hot and cold water system via calorifier with immersion coil. Diesel fired Eberspacher warm air heating system. Blue cloth upholstery with roller blinds to windows and teak and holly sole boards throughout.
Located beneath companionway, year 2003 Volvo Penta MD2020 3-cylinder 29hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Plastic 150 litre fuel tank. Volvo Penta Saildrive with fixed 3-bladed propeller.
The engine was last professionally serviced in Spring 2021. The Saildrive diaphragm is original and will need changing.
3 x 12v Batteries (2 x 120ah domestic and 60ah engine start), all new 2017 charged via engine alternator and solar panel. Shore power system with ring mains, battery charger, and immersion coil for water heating. Electrical distribution panel with an integrated meter. Full cabin lighting. Battery monitor system.
Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop. 2003 Selden aluminium double swept spreader mast and boom. Selden rod kicker. Alloy spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (2003). Terylene running rigging (2003). Furling mainsail system. Furlex headsail furling system. 2 x Harken 40 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Harken coachroof winches. Main sheet track.
Bavaria 36 built in 2003 by Bavaria Yachts to a design by J & J Design, RCD Category A. White GRP hull (with blue style stripes), superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Shoal draft cast iron fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Teak laid cockpit seats. Self draining cockpit. Last surveyed in 2005. Her owner has cruised her to the Med and back in the early 2000's and recently locally on the East Coast.
