"Ancient One" - A classic design and build by Michael Putnam & Allen Farrell.  Unique junk rigged.  Needs a new owner who loves working with classic wood boats.  Built by Michael Putman, from 1981-1991 on Jedediah Island, in Canadian Gulf Islands, It Is a replica of Allen Farrell's "Ocean Bird" but Junk rigged instead of Gaff rigged, Allen Farrell assisted Michael with the building, since he lived on Lasqueti Island nearby, and helped with the launch.  This boat is a work of art and dedication, Warm, Dry, Quiet and needs to be seen to believe the woodwork inside, It needs work, Sails need repair, or replaced.  29 hp Perkins 3 cylinder with approx 4000 hr.  A new heat exchanger, new exhaust riser and a new stuffing box and new shaft were installed in Oct of 2016, Boat Surveyed August of 2016, and is in dry Storage.  US Coast Guard Documented Vessel.  Hull is approx 1-1/2" strip planked yellow cedar. Cabin sides are 1-3/4" red cedar.  House ceiling is 1/2"x1-3/4" yellow cedar, deck is 3/4" ply overlaid with 1-1/4x2' vertical grain yellow cedar, Hanging knees are crooks of yew, maple and fir, She'll fit into a 32' slip.
