Offshore racing yacht CYD2705 has been designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli, the lead designer for the +39 America's Cup challenge team. By her genuine profile the craft resembles her larger America's Cup sisters. A narrow hull form with adequately located centre of gravity ensures excellent performance when sailing to head winds. Owing to her exceptionally light and rigid hull structure (400kg with deck) she offers high seaworthiness, allowing starting in ORC races (cat III, with liferaft). The yacht shows a self-steering properties and is perfectly balanced. Thanks to her good directional stability she enables safe sailing with spinnaker, even in high seas and squall winds. Ease of road-trailing makes it possible to attend races in Germany and Italy.
