The Caliber 28 was designed by Michael McCreary, N.A., who with his brother, George, ran Caliber Yachts. The Caliber 28 is a remarkable boat for all it manages to pack into 28', even including a private aft cabin, found on very few boats this size.
Lollipop II features a Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engine, dodger, bimini, newer sails, roller-furling, all lines led aft to cockpit for ease in shorthanded sailing, bow anchor roller, hot and cold pressurized water, and newer interior cushions. She has been a fixture in Hingham Harbor since 1988. Acquired as a one-year old boat and carefully maintained by its current owners, this stable cruiser has wide decks, warm teak interior and accommodations for five/six. With her relatively wide beam and moderate displacement, Lollipop II is comfortable and stable. Lovingly used for day sails and light cruising from Cape Cod to Maine for the past 32 years, Lollipop's owners have decided to downsize. She's easily available to be seen at her mooring in Hingham Harbor.
