Interior

The interior of the vessel is beautifully done, from the large and comfortable salon with a new L-shaped dining settee, new 22 Vizio HDTV and Sony DVD player, MP3 all in 2010 to the fully equipped galley. There are teak and holly floors throughout. A huge master berth with handcrafted teak joiner work, a walk-around queen, VacuFlush electric toilet and shower with a soaking tub. Guest accommodations include the 3-berth cabin forward, pilothouse berth and guest head with VacuFlush toilets and a full shower. A Ribber Combo washer/dryer is also located in the guest head. The fully equipped galley includes a SS double sink, 3 burner propane stove and oven, Broan trash compactor, Novakool 12V refrigerator new 2009, Raritan stand alone icemaker. The central vacuum cleaner allows for cleaning with ease.

On Deck

The Flying Cloud boasts two rear deck spaces-an upper and lower. The upper deck is currently home to the new fiberglass bottom Achilles raft with a 15 horse electric start 4-stroke engine. She has a center console and can be lifted in and out of the water via the davit system to port. The Achilles makes a great tender, but also doubles as a safety raft. The current owners use her to pull crab pots and do some occasional beach combing. The back deck is equipped with down riggers and all the space you need to land the catch of the day!

Engine and Mechanical
  Twin Ford Lehman 135 HP main engines coupled with Borg-Warner Velvet drive transmissions, make for a great power combo on this Sea Ranger. She has one summer of use on a fully rebuilt Lehman and sits at a tidy 285 hours, while the port engine is currently at 7800 hours. She also has a Groco gear pump reversing oil change system plumbed to main engines, which was new in 2012. She has a 769 gallon fuel capacity that gives her a 200 hour range at about 7.6 knots in calm water, fuel scrubber/transfer system through two filters, 130 amp and 70 amp alternators on main engines, Onan genset 12 kw, 5 house batteries, 2 main engine start batteries, 1 genset start battery, 2 KW Seaworthy inverter/charger onboard as spare 2 KW Xantrex inverter/charger pure sine wave new installed 2012, Galvanic isolator, 270 gallon fresh water capacity, 45 gallon holding tank, Primary bilge pump plus: Two Rule bilge pumps and a manual backup bilge pump in the wheel house. She had new hydraulic steering pumps installed in 2014.

The Flying Cloud is also equipped with a 66# Bruce anchor with Ideal electric windlass, 400 5/16 HT chain new 2009, stainless sink in cockpit with hot/cold faucet, Spare anchor and 300 of rode in lazarette. Full fly bridge top and canvas have been updated and replaced in the last 2 years. Fresh water washdown fore and aft, Safety Flare Kit USCG approved and up to date.
