Offered for sale, a 1982 MARINE TRADER 36 Europa at a bargain price. The owners have a family situation that is forcing them to sell her now. She is insured for $28,000 and priced to sell quickly.
The 36' Marine Trader is a renowned trawler yacht for the Great Loop and as a comfortable liveaboard. She has a 120 hp Ford Lehman diesel which runs sweetly and has a new Racor fuel filter and cooling pump impeller. The interior has two cozy sleeping cabins and a spacious galley and salon. The salon settee converts to a third berth. The air conditioning runs great. The flybridge deck is perfect for relaxing in sunny weather, and offers a view all round for docking and anchoring.
Many upgrades are aboard and a few things still need to be done. The through hulls are new, the lower deck has been fiberglassed, sun shade curtains fitted all around and an electric flush toilet is newly fitted. Please note that there is no holding tank. The stove needs a new propane tank and connection to the stove supply line. The galley fridge needs to be replaced. The upper deck supports have been replaced with custom stainless steel supports which are cleverly adjustable as safety railings. The bimini and console covers are new Sunbrella. Diver servicing keeps the bottom and prop clean. Bottom painted with two coats of Pettit Trinidad Pro in 2020. Stuffing box serviced in 2020. Overall, in spite of the upgrades the vessel is in average condition.
