Fountaine Pajot, the world leader in cruising catamaran technology and design, has again raised the industry bar with this new blue-water sailing catamaran, the Helia 44.
With its name derived from the Greek term for 'ray of light', the Helia 44 is the 19th model launched by Fountaine Pajot in its prestigious 30-year history. Impressive offshore performance, optimal safety and ease of handling are at the forefront of the Helia 44's design, and its light-filled and spacious design make it the epitome of live aboard luxury.
The hugely popular Helia 44 has undergone a major facelift and will be launched as the Helia 44 Evolution in late 2015. Fountaine Pajot has sold more than 130 Helia 44 models since its launch in 2012, and the new Helia 44 Evolution features a range of improvements to make cruising life even more enjoyable. Redesigned portholes in the catamaran’s hulls increase natural light by 30% while delivering enhanced views and a stylish aesthetic. The newly recessed mast creates brilliant panoramic vistas from the saloon and allow even more natural light to illuminate the interior, which enjoys a sleek, contemporary redesign. The decadent Owner’s Suite in the Maestro version now incorporate an upgraded ensuite with expansive shower (80 x 85cm), separate toilet, generous wardrobe, and superbly practical laundry for convenience on extended passages. Huge volumes in the saloon and accommodation areas are complemented by the epitome of elegance in contemporary design. Up on deck, life is even more relaxing than ever on the new Helia 44 Evolution. The catamaran now features additional lounges for lazy afternoons with friends or a book. New stainless steel davits on deck provide even greater strength and durability.
