Freedom has been with the same owners from new and she has been extremely well maintained from when she left the factory in 2007. She has a full Raymarine electronics package including AIS, Radar and the 'walk about' Raymarine autopilot controls, which gives you the ultimate control when working on or below the decks. She has been sailed over 12,000 miles with 2 crew around the Mediterranean with ease, which is definitely not to be disregarded given that she is nearly a 50ft yacht! With her traditional teak decks, self-tacking genoa and all her halyards coming back to the accessible jammers in the cockpit we are not sure why you need to look any further? To add to the attraction her berth is also available (by separate negotiation) in Valencia if you would like to keep her, were she will be lying in early spring. She has a folding, flexi-fold three blade plus full set of spare blades and pins and is in excellent condition.
There is a laptop on-board that has the Raytech software loaded onto it. However this can be loaded on any laptop, which is handy for doing voyage planning down below deck.
The 2007 furling Jib is a North sail, which is removed every winter and serviced, cleaned as required and stored down below.
The 2008 Momentum Asymmetric is in excellent condition has no repairs on it and is always stored below decks.
The 2007 Main North Sails is also removed every winter and serviced, cleaned as required and stored below.
The main fridge is accessed by the top opening or a lower door and has a small freezer compartment built in.
The other fridge was ordered as a freezer but was quickly converted it into a fridge given the owners requirements, by simply changing the thermostat. This can be converted back to a freezer if required. The owners have all the parts to make this happen.
The teak decks are in good condition and the rubber is not lifting.
The swing bow-thruster is the Lewmar 185 model.
The davits are Plastimo and removable.
The gangway was purchased in Italy and is stainless steel and teak folding.
The domestic Batteries are 8 x Varta AGM 85a/h 2007 and are still working well.
The bow thruster battery was replaced in 2012 from AGM to lead acid as this was more suitable for the rapid charge (120 a/h) situated in the bow with the separate charging and monitoring system.
The interior fabric is Alcantara and in a warm sand/yellow. In very good condition, with no stains as was Scot guarded from new.
The lighting is LED and down below.
The engine was serviced in Valencia in August 2015.
The bow thruster was removed from the yacht and fully serviced in 2012.
