From the pen of Botin and Carkeek and launched in 2005, the Grand Soleil 37 is a true dual purpose cruiser-racer.
The Grand Soleil 37 is not only a brilliant yacht on the race course but also an exceptionally comfortable cruising yacht with ample space both above and below deck.
The hull and deck are constructed in a closed sandwich foam and vinyl ester resin in the first layer cell. Reinforcements are placed in high stress areas to ensure extra safety under load. The Grand Soleil 37 also has an internal galvanized steel grating with acrylic glue sticks and joins the hull. This grid absorbs the load of the keel mast and shrouds.
