The Packet Craft 36 is very well designed and executed. An aggressive entry and propeller pockets provide a comfortable and efficient ride. Handling is crisp and precise, and she also boasts admirable dockside behavior. The helm station is comfortable and intuitive making her a pleasure to operate.
Electronics are a Furuno Navnet vx2 Radar, a Garmin 5208 GPS/Sounder and a Raymarine Autopilot. There are 2 VHFs and there is also AIS w/ radar/plotter overlay.
All windows also feature vent wings which assist in the airy feel of the cockpit. This particular vessel has had a custom cabin extension which has negated the need for the side curtains you frequently see on Expresses.
An angled, molded shorepower station in the cockpit features dual 50 amp service and corresponding circuit breakers secured in weather-tight Hubbell hardware. It also houses a hot/cold cockpit shower, Hubbell communication ports, engine hatch lift switches and cockpit lighting switches.
There is also a wet bar in the cockpit.
The foredeck windlass area offers a dedicated fresh water washdown, and there are windlass controls at the helm, and on deck.
A centerline hatch on the bridgedeck offers easy access to the twin 370hp Yanmars with less than 500hrs, and bridgedeck is also hinged an actuated to offer even greater serviceability.
Each sitting area, both on deck and in the cabin has a socket and pedestal for a table (there are 2 tables).
The cabin is comfortable and well appointed. The galley has a microwave, a 2 burner stove, ample storage for light cruising, and both built in and slide in refer units.There is a 10kw genset, and of course heat & AC. The cabinets and hanging lockers in the berth are cedar lined.
The spacious head has a shower and a VacuFlush head with a dedicated fresh water tank.
All overhead hatches in the cabin and on the bridgedeck have retractable shades.
This boat has been lovingly maintained and it shows. She is one of a kind with her custom touches and needs to be seen to be truly appreciated.
