Betelgeuse II was built in France for the Moorings charter fleet and then purchased in 2004 by her current owner. She has been professionally refit to accommodate American desires for air conditioning, electrical luxuries and ease of maintenance. This entailed many custom details that the experienced owners had on their wish list that are not readily visible but contribute to the overall build of the vessel. The installation of the AC system and the generator have received high marks from all that have seen them. A major factor in the refit was an effort to create as much storage space as is possible without hindering access to critical functions.
Her handling characteristics and performance have been described as being the best that Beneteau has ever offered, making her an excellent choice for either day sailing or serious offshore cruising.
She is truly a one of kind .....and well loved boat.
