This well presented Atlantic 42 is a credit to her owners. She is fastidiously maintained by her knowledgeable and caring owners, in addition she has many extras including full teak decking, air conditioning and davits. Under her current ownership she has cruised extensively and has travelled most of the Northern European Waterways. The famous Atlantic styling and hull make for a truly solid sea boat with great sea keeping and yet her minimum air draft of just 3.28 metres allow easy transit through all the European Canal and river network. This is probably one of the best value Atlantic 42's on the market, call or email for more details.
As with all all the range from this well known and highly regarded manufacturer, the Atlantic 42 is a real go anywhere boat because it has a very soft riding hull at sea with very predictable handling characteristics ensuring safe passage in all sea states.
In addition, the design brief was to have a boat that would be equally at home on Inland waterways. Therefore the hull was designed to run on a single engine while on inland waters with the need to apply very little opposite helm to make the boat track straight.
The Radar Arch is easily lowered to give a maximum air draft of 3.28 metres (c.10'9") thus enabling safe passage through any bridge on the main routes. With the mast up the air draft is a maximum of 4.51m (c.14'10").
It is therefore evident that Baturi is able to safely navigate the entire inland waterway system of Northern Europe as well as being a very safe ocean going boat.
Her current owners have been just about everywhere possible in Baturi and they regularly spend their summer months exploring new pastures in Europe and beyond. If ever you have wanted a boat to take you both to sea and inland, in style and total comfort, you need to visit the boat and see for yourself just how comfortable life with an Atlantic can be.
The newly carpeted Saloon has a spacious and comfortable settee with small coffee table, under sofa storage and there are plenty of beautifully designed and fitted storage cupboards. The boat is equipped with both a TV and a stereo with C.D. player.
The Galley is well equipped with a double sink with hot and cold water, ’fridge, 4 burner electric hob, microwave/conventional oven, thermally secured with electric ventilator. Opposite the galley is a “U” shaped Dinette to port with table and storage space beneath. This area can easily be made to convert to additional sleeping space if required by our in house Atlantic specialist.
The double Master Cabin is situated aft and is exquisitely furnished, with wardrobes and chests of drawers. En– Suite Shower and a separate W.C. The shower room also contains a cupboard housing the domestic sized washer/dryer machine.
