The cabin is satin finished cherrywood. All bulkheads and cabin sole are in very good condition. The forward cabin has a large V-berth and ample storage in drawers below. Cabinets on both sides along with a hanging locker to starboard. A small sink is attached to the main bulkhead. The main salon contains port and starboard settees with a center line table which opens to seat eight guest. The port settee pulls out to make a double berth. The Nav station further aft and to starboard. Across from the Nav station is the galley. The island contains the double SS sinks. Under this area is the engine compartment with openings on both sides which provides excellent access to the engine. Along the port side is the stove, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. The refrigerator is both a top load and front load. There is plenty of storage throughout the salon and galley with drawers, cabinets and bookshelves. The head with separate shower is located to starboard of the companionway. To port is a very comfortable aft-cabin with a double berth. Storage is provided with cabinets and a hanging locker. This is a very well thought interior, whether offshore sailing or at anchor.
The Sabre 402 is a Jim Taylor design and therefore is a great performance cruiser with a well thought-out layout. Forward is a Rocna 20kg anchor with 150' of chain and 200' of 9/16' nylon rode. An oversized Lewnar windlass is located in the forward locker. The Harken Mark III furler controls the '13 125% genoa. All running rigging is in excellent condition and includes new Garhauer jib and mainsheet blocks. All halyards and controls lines including the Harken Quick Vang are led aft under the dodger into the cockpit. Closed-cell foam cushions surround the cockpit for comfortable sitting. There is a Edison outboard motor bracket with lift mounted on the stern cockpit railing and the RayMarine 24m radar pedestal is mounted at the stern along side the two Kyocera solar panels. The bottom was soda blasted in 2012 and six barrier coats were applied. She was just hauled and painted and the bottom is in excellent condition including the 20" Max 3 bladed feathering prop.
KABRIA is all ready to go wherever you desire.
