This is hull number Six of the extremely rare Little Harbor WhisperJet 40'. Best known for its designer Ted Hood, the WhisperJet is great interpretation of a Downeaster style dayboat.
Hot Rod features a very shallow draft and high planing speeds made possible from jet drives powered by Twin Cummins 450hp engines. Fischer-Panda generator and inverter allow for air conditioning in the warm summer months. Tuna Tower ideal for off-shore fishing is included. Sectional Tower may be easily removed for a Downeaster look.
