This amazing steel vessel was launched by Kristen Yachts in 1994 in Sidney, British Columbia, just outside Victoria on Vancouver Island. She is a 52’ all steel Bruce Roberts designed motorsailor with a raised salon and fully enclosed pilothouse. Currently sailed by renowned author Christine Kling, and her husband, who is a former diesel mechanic and is meticulous about his boat, "Learnativity" comes compete with two offices where you can get your work done in peace while exploring the world.

She has traveled over 35,000 nautical miles since she was purchased from the original owner in 2005, and her most recent passage was from the Marshall Islands to Fiji in 2015. She has been the owner’s full time home since 2008 and she is currently sitting in Fiji awaiting her next adventure while her owners are busy designing their new expedition motoryacht to continue their worldwide cruising and are therefore anxious to see her heading off to new horizons with her  new owners as soon as possible.

Originally built as a research vessel, she has the strength and seaworthiness to take you anywhere you want to go. The current owner purchased her in from the original owner in Victoria in 2005, and has since gone through three major refits, sparing no expense or detail on her to make her into the go anywhere blue water cruiser she is today.
