SHOOTING STAR is an exceptional example of this Hood/ Empacher design. Her original teak decks were completely replaced in 2003 and appear to be newer
The hull was Awlgripped Flag Blue in 2006. Superstructure was Awlgripped white in 2003. Mast and Boom were Awlgripped in 2003.SHOOTING STAR generously accommodates 6 in 3 private cabins. Main saloon settees can be pressed into service for occasional extra guests.
a rich American cherry interior is beautifully joined. The main saloon, Nav station and galley were re-varnished in 2006. The solid teak & holly soles have been refinished. A handsome double-leaved cherry table is the cynosure of the main saloon. An entertainment center is to port and a custom bar to starboard.. The upholstery is tan Ultrasuede and is New as of May 2015. .There are curtains throughout.
Storage is abundant and hardhats are unnecessary for most; there is 6' 5" of headroom and a uniformly roomy feel.

SHOOTING STAR has a rich beautiful American cherry interior. The arrangement is well- proportioned and provides a very livable Owner's cabin aft with a centerline double berth,
An ensuite head with separate stall shower, a large hanging locker and plenty of storage lockers. Over head hatches and opening portlights provide plenty of natural light and ventilation.
There is a traditional V- berthed forward cabin and a guest cabin aft and to starboard of it.
These cabins share a forward head with a separate stall shower.
Upholstery all renewed in May of 2015.
