The Moody 346 is powered by a 1986 Thornycroft T80 36hp diesel engine, four cylinder, electric start, sea water cooled (last serviced May 2015). Shaft drive to a three blade fixed propeller and rope cutter. Single lever engine controls. Approx. 5 knots cruising speed and 6 knots maximum speed. 160 litres fuel capacity in steel tank. Gearbox replaced in 2003.
3 x 12 volt batteries (2015) charging from the engine alternator, 240 volt battery charger, 240 volt ring main installed along with an immersion heater.
Built by Marine projects (Plymouth) Ltd in 1986. White grp hull with style stripes. White grp coach roof with moulded non-skid decks. Self-draining centre cockpit. Cast iron fin keel.
