Very similar to the Catalina 34, this Newport 33 by Capital Yachts is a very intuitive and beautiful Gary Mull design. Gary Mull is one of this century's most prolific boat designers, having designed such beauties as the Santana 22,27, Ranger 22,23,26,29, 37, Orion 50, Freedom series, and other race winners.
The boat itself is very easy to single hand and the updated interior make for a very pleasurable sailing experience.
The cockpit boasts amenities like a transom swimstep, folding helm, Autohelm ST4000, and a variety of repeaters.
When you walk into the boat you will notice the light and breezy feel due to the upholstered cushions and the beautiful woodwork. To the port is a galley with double stainless sink, microwave, Adler-Barbour refrigerator/freezer, freshwater sink and manual pump, 3 Burner CNG stove with 2 CNG tanks, and a water heater.
Opposite the galley is a pilot's navigation table and a rear quarter berth. In front in ample seating to form an L shape on the galley side and a single settee on the opposite, complete with a very unique fold down table with extra storage. The amount of space in this boat for its length is purely incredible, and the interior finishing touches make it beautiful for a 1986 boat. Definitely one of the cleaner 30-34' sloops on the market for this year range.
Ahead the salon is a large V berth along with a head / shower arrangement with 9 gallon holding tank.
This boat sales competently and easily and would make anyone a great cruiser, club racer, or liveaboard. Come check her out!
