The Cape Dory is a VERY big 28' Sailboat. She is a sought after Carl Alberg design. Proven over time the 28 is desirable for a cruising sailboat with great looks, tremendous resale and predictable performance.
This Cape Dory is a true GEM. She has been ridiculously loved by a knowledgeable and conscientious owner for the last 16 years. If you are looking for a bargain boat for a few day sails, then this is probably not the boat for you. If you are serious about sailing and want to explore with a a well built, well maintained boat, then step right up and become the next owner of this boat. It will not disappoint.
Here are the highlights-
Professionally re-powered with a Volvo D-1 diesel in 2014.
TURN KEY... yes completely equipped. This experienced sailor is getting out of boating and is leaving everything.
SPARES and EQUIPMENT- I've never seen a better stocked and equipped boat. He actually carries spare oil for other boaters.
