CONSTRUCTION
Built in 1959. Construction is of Teak on Ipol with lead keel, marine ply decks (renewed recently) with cream deck paint, white painted topsides and varnished teak cabin sides and superstructure. Extended coachroof (long doghouse version), self draining aft cockpit with tiller steering, interior has 2 berths in a single cabin with over 6ft standing headroom and forward cabin housing heads.

Bermudian sloop rig with keel stepped spruce mast, heavy spruce boom with Slab reefing, stainless steel standing rigging (all new 2000) and rope & wire running rigging (new 2000).
ENGINE:
Beta Marine twin cylinder 9hp inboard diesel engine installed new around 10 years ago. Current engine hours approx 330. Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries. Shaft drive to fixed propeller.

Freshwater portable containers but potential for up to 45 gallons (plumbing in place)
DECK GEAR:
Pulpit. DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:
Refleks diesel heater (not tested by present owners). Taylor 029 paraffin cooker (new in 2000 including new tank and pipe), some pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, originally water tanks 45 gallons were located under each bunk however these have been removed and require replacement, Stainless steel sink with water supply from separate containers. Baby Blake marine toilet. Blue fabric berth cushions and back-rests. Wooden cabin sole. Wooden cabin table (removable).
ACCOMMODATION:
She has 2 single settee berths port and starboard in the saloon, the forward cabin contains the heads and stores. Berths have lee-cloths. Headroom in the saloon is well over 6ft. Forward cabin has separate door and also houses stores, sails, warps, anchor chain, etc
STORES:
Useful array of spares and stores including screws, nuts, bolts, clips etc Other sundry items.
REMARKS:
"Mea" is a wonderful example of these lovely classic yachts. Built of the best materials and maintained by her various owners at at a high standard. Her decks were renewed in marine ply and epoxy in 1993, she was professionally surveyed in 2003 when purchased by her present owners and various small repairs have been carried out since. Her present owner have replaced the engine with a new Beta 9hp twin cylinder diesel which has run for around 330 hours. The boat is full of history, in previous ownership she has sailed from Hong Kong to the UK and twice sailed the Atlantic. A fantastic opportunity to acquire one of these rare "Ocean" Cheoy Lee Vertues.
