
The Berkel was built in Amsterdam in 1956 for the Dutch Navy.
The hull is all welded steel, thickness from 8 to 12 mm depending on location.
The Berkel is still capable of being a working tugboat, but is currently registered as a private pleasure yacht.
She currently has approximately 14,500 liters of fuel in the bunkers.
The Berkel has just completed a trip from Holland to Alexandroupoli and is in good working condition.
Cruising speed is approximately 8 knots at 200 rpm.
