The “Robert E. Lee” is an all welded, steel construction, two story vessel that is in the process of having the interior totally remodeled. Vessel is being sold "AS IS".
She has wide walkways with railings & could be very desirable for corporate entertaining. Her Twin Detroit Diesels run well with 137hp each.
From the Bow, ships salon/lounge, starboard two (2) man master stateroom. Port side ships head, starboard side two (2) man bunk room, port side passageway, electrical service/locker, port side ships head. Port side dinette, starboard side ships galley. 2nd deck pilothouse with forward helm dash and steaming berths/quarters aft.
Interior spaces are wooded out with a variety of woods. Plywood bulkheads & over heads, wood joiner trim, steel sole. Built in wood joiner built in cabinets, cupboards, lockers, furniture, bunks and beds. 12 volt DC overhead lighting.
We have a recent survey that can be shared with interested buyers. Hull is divided by 3 transverse bulkheads with 4 compartments reckoning from the bow: forepeak/void collision generator compartment, tank room, machinery space and lazaret. She has no KEEL but a slight "V" Bottom with essentially a flat bottom design.
Bilge are clean and dry.
All decks are steel welded 1/4" plate and painted. Main deck house with a forward pilot house atop.
Custom built steel framed windows set in mahogany wood joiner interior frames.
Engine Instruments: Tachometer, water temp. Oil pressure, volts and gear oil pressure gauges.
Engine hours are unknown. Main engines and generator are raw water heat exchanged called.
Fresh Water Pump, Hot water heater, air conditioning/heating, marine head with macerator fresh water system.
Mechanical steering system, single helm station, chain and sprocket helm cable and sheave system to rudder quadrants with jockey bar between rudders.
This vessel would make a wonderful River Boat for corporate entertaining or a family. She has been extremely popular around the rivers near Lake Pontchatrain & New Orleans but could easily be taken up to the lakes and rivers of Tennessee or Kentucky.
Please keep in mind that the remodel ( interior refit) was in place when the owner passed away and while she can still cruise along the rivers, her interior is a work in progress.
