“Lazy Jack” is a Fred Whittier designed and built 48’ schooner. Built in Ipswich, MA in 1947 and recently renovated, she is a true floating legend ready to continue sailing for years to come.
She received significant structural and electronic improvements in 2015 and was repowered that same year. As a commercial sailing vessel, Lazy Jack welcomes up to 14 guests for day trips throughout the bays of the Boothbay region.
Often seen sailing between Tumbler Island and the mainland, she is a key feature of the towns working waterfront. Lazy Jack is being sold with the charter business. That includes marketing materials, a slip and well established relationships with area businesses.
The boat is offered for sale with or without the affiliated business. The asking price varies depending on intended use of the boat. Please inquire to learn more.
