Built in Denmark as a fishing vessel to work in the waters around Iceland, she retired from fishing in 1962 and was converted to a private yacht in 1970. In 1985 she was changed to her current configuration with a schooner rig and decent accommodation. Currently coded for commercial use under UK flag, she is in commission and ready to sail. 12 berths in 3 separate sleeping cabins plus a large saloon and two heads compartments. New 150hp Beta diesel in 2013. A fine boat of very manageable size.

Wooden Ships Comments
Built in Fredrickshaven, Denmark, in 1932 as a sailing & motor fishing boat kotter. Long keel, delightful elliptical counter stern and a bluff bow.
Fished until 1962, and first converted to yacht in 1970 after which she undertook the Tall Ships Race in 1972 & 74. Conversion to present configuration & schooner rigged in Holland, 1985.
Bought by present owners in 2004 and sailed between UK and the Canary Islands undertaking charter work of various kinds including appearances at traditional festivals. She currently has an up to date UK Code of Practice certificate and is currently in commission and ready to sail.

Planked in 3" oak all iron dump fastened to massive doubled 6” x 4” sawn oak frames @ 12" centres on an oak back-bone with an inner ceiling of oak. Copper sheathed below the waterline.
Straight laid iroko deck, caulked and payed between 3’ bulwarks with heavy capping rail.
Flush perspex fore hatch, iroko built casing between the masts at bulwark height, slightly higher casing aft each with bronze opening port holes.
Solid Iroko deck structures with a dog house aft and a slightly lower one forward between the masts. Bronze portholes set in the dog house with a laid iroko coachroof deck over marine plywood.
Gaff schooner rig on solid, varnished, keel-stepped masts, both with fidded topmasts.
New main mast 2005/6.
Heavy stainless steel rigging, much of it renewed in recent years, to external chain plates with rigging screws.

Large bank of deep cycle batteries connected to give 24 volts. Charged from the engine alternator or through a Victron inverter when connected to shore pwoer.
